Harsh New England Winter, Hearty Crews, and Happy Clients

Nothing is more thrilling than seeing a project take shape. It is a joy for all of us at Whitten Architects, but a site visit to a mid-construction, un-insulated, un-conditioned coastal home, can bring anyone a new sense of appreciation for our builders and their crews. This past winter especially, with almost record-breaking snow accumulation, attests to the harsh conditions faced in New England.

As architects we rely on builders to bring our two-dimensional drawings and four-dimensional imaginings to reality. With warmer days in the line-up, and with clients scheduling their move-in dates, we would like to give a nod of appreciation to those hearty souls that braved the winter months to make the 2014/2015 build cycle a successful one. Special thanks to Steve Brann Building & Remodeling, Douston Construction, RP Morrison Builders, Inc., Pearson Construction and Wright-Ryan. Your efforts are hugely appreciated by the Whitten Architects team!
