We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, experience in customer service and client relations, a strong interest in architecture and design, and an eagerness to both learn from and contribute to our collaborative team environment. As with our clients, fit is paramount, so the position can be part-time or full time, based on the right candidate. In addition, the right candidate will make their own mark on this position, evolving the role and responsibilities to suit their strengths and the firm's needs. While time in the studio is vital, we are open to a combination of on-site and remote work.


Requirements:

  • excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • experience with iWork Suite and/or Microsoft Office
  • ability to multi-task with a meticulous attention to detail, quality, and thoroughness
  • ability to maintain a high-level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • proactive and able to work independently with good judgment and minimal direction
  • experience in architecture, design, and construction fields a plus


Responsibilities:

Operations

  • support project management and scheduling
  • assist with drafting client agreements
  • coordinate with accounting consultant on client invoicing
  • manage vendor relations
  • maintain office files and records

Business Development

  • champion client, builder, and consultant engagement
  • organize and participate in client interviews
  • promote and support studio culture, ethos, and design methodology
  • coordinate with marketing consultant on marketing efforts
  • attend networking events

Human Resources

  • assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new team members
  • maintain office handbook
  • administer payroll and benefits program
  • monitor and support professional licensing and memberships
  • schedule continuing education and training events
  • ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
