Road Trip North- Job Site Tours

After our southern excursion, the team headed north to visit a few more in-progress projects. Our first stop was the shoreline of Yarmouth Maine. The cottage roof framing was underway with Warren Construction Group managing the build. The positioning of the home, garage, and arrival court make for intimate first impression. The expansive views to the water’s edge were simply stunning, as are the volumes at the second level. We are excited to see this one come together.

Next stop the Bunganuc Woods House, a build by Merrymeeting Builders. Upon arrival, the heavily wooded site gives way to a sunny clearing, making for a dramatic first impression. The expansive openings facing the entry court, add a modern flare to the vernacular form. Later this spring Emma Kelly Landscape will begin their landscape installation bringing new life to the sunny meadow shaped by a newly formed home.

Our final stop, another forested site in Brunswick. The build, managed by Benjamin & Company, is racing towards its mid summer finish. The big “barn” presents itself first in farmhouse-like fashion, with the house proper beyond. Mid-morning light flooded the living spaces with priority views exposing the pond beyond. Interior designer Krista Stokes was on site to talk interior color palettes. We are excited to see the final pieces come together for this active young family!
