site conditions: Existing log camp and boathouse in poor condition.
client program: Upgrade camp for four season use.
design response: Phase 1, design guest quarters with living space and kitchen over the boathouse for owner’s use during camp renovations. Phase 2, new entry, open kitchen, great room with stone fireplace, expand upper level to include master suite with stone fireplace, office, porches, and new stair. Design guest suites on main level and upper level bunk rooms, new front porch, outside living spaces, screen room, work with existing log wall window layout and restore the original camp office and great hall.
